Vivacious is a 2-year-old filly racing prospect sired by the RED HOT freshman sire Yaupon who so far in 2025 is the #1 First-Crop Sire in North America! Led by a crop-high 8 Winners–all MdSpWt incl. 6 on debut–including a 2yo filly SASSY C W, who is an undefeated winner of the $150,000 Astoria S. at Saratoga, and the $100,000 Prairie Gold Lassie S., and a dominant debut MdSpWt win. In 2025 sales Yaupon was the #2 Freshman Sire with a $216,200 average sales price.

This filly arrived in the barn of trainer Ryan Hanson at Santa Anita in late June. Ryan broke the horse himself in Whittier and is part owner in her as well. She has been training at Del Mar Racetrack and will get into more serious training back at Santa Anita in September. We image her getting her first start in Nov.
